So much of the world has been changed by the extraordinary impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Even as British society looks forward to returning to something approaching normality, it’s clear that many things will never be the same again.

Working practices have altered for vast numbers of people who have become used to carrying on their business from home.

We have become accustomed to staying at least two metres from others in the street, in shops and even in the park. The idea of hugging or shaking hands has become an unfamiliar concept.

It’s also apparent that the need for high standards of hygiene will be at the forefront of people’s minds for a long time to come.
For those of us in the business of offering cleaning services, the need to observe such high standards has always been paramount.

Whenever we go into a client’s premises, it’s always with a desire to deliver impeccable standards of cleanliness.

In some ways, it’s going to be easier than before Covid-19 to persuade people of the necessity of actions such as washing hands and wiping surfaces regularly and generally policing your surroundings.

However, I can guarantee you that we won’t be taking any opportunity to slip from the high standards of hygiene that have always been par for the course at SAF Cleaning.

What we will do, however, is continue the process of ensuring we are at the cutting edge of implementing state-of-the-art methods and materials as we go about our business in domestic and commercial premises.

We’re always learning because we believe it’s essential to give our customers the benefit of the latest developments in the inter-related worlds of cleaning, hygiene and health & safety.

In the new post-lockdown world, it will be essential not only to deliver hygiene, but to do it in the most environmentally friendly manner possible.

We already use very few chemicals in our processes and that trend will no doubt continue as the world strives to be as ecologically considerate as it can in the years ahead.

Many companies will want advice on how to be as Covid-secure and eco-friendly in the months to come – and SAF Cleaning will be here to provide that guidance.

For now, please stay safe – and please stay hygienic.
